World Peoples Assembly Delegation Held a Working Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Iraq

As part of preparations for the upcoming Arab Summit, which is planned to be held in Baghdad in April 2026, the World Peoples Assembly delegation was received by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Iraq, Elbrus Kutrashev.

During the meeting, representatives of the World Peoples Assembly informed the ambassador about plans for conducting the summit, as well as the goals and key directions of the forum's agenda. Special attention was given to issues of expanding the circle of participants and international presence at the event.

Following the negotiations, an important decision was made — to invite not only representatives of Arab states to participate in the summit, but also representatives of neighboring countries of the region, which will open new prospects for dialogue, strengthening cooperation, and expanding humanitarian ties.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and diplomatic respect, confirming the shared commitment to productive partnership in anticipation of one of the key international events of 2026.
