Film about Oleg Tabakov opens the New Cinema Screening Season at the Turgenev Library

The screening of the films - winners of the XXI Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival «Won Together» will take place on October 22, 2026, at the I.S. Turgenev Library and Reading Room. This event will open the new season of the Documentary Film Club.

The evening's program includes:

«Oh! Caught an Atom of the Sun. Oleg Tabakov» - the festival program «Atelier of Cinema Art», directed by Andrey Istratov (Russia), 2026. An informal exploration of the creative nature of one of the most prominent representatives of Russian theater and cinema;

«Echo» - the program of the international student competition, directed by Dan Grabnar (Republic of Srpska), 2025. Prize for artistic exploration of the theme of the transience of material memory;

«Milk and Honey» - the International Student Competition, directed by Sara Marić (Republic of Srpska), 2025. Special Prize for the subtle exploration of the spiritual value and nobility of the work of elderly heroes.

The event will be organized by the World Peoples Assembly and the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio. Festival Director Lina Bogatyr will host the event.

Starts at 18:30 (Moscow time). Admission is free.

The XXI Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival «Won Together» was held in September 2026 in Moscow and Sochi as part of the Second World Public Assembly «New World: Values ​​That Unite». The festival brought together documentary filmmakers from around the world whose work is dedicated to preserving historical memory and seeking truth.
