“Letters of Happiness” united hearts at the #ZAODNO festival in Moscow
The Department of Happiness of the World Peoples Assembly together with the team of the Center for Sociocultural Development “Aggregator of Happiness” held the worldwide campaign “Letters of Happiness” on August 29–30, 2026, at the #ZAODNO festival venue in Moscow’s Yauza Park.
According to the participants, the past weekend turned out to be truly hearty. The event became a space for expressing sincere words, warm emotions and a shared creative impulse.
The focus was on the longest letter of happiness. Step by step the team and everyone who wanted to participate filled it with kind wishes and stories. Everyone was able to make their contribution, thanks to which the manuscript turned into a true collective manifesto of humanity.
The platform’s guests learned who the “Ambassadors of Happiness” are and what their mission entails: to bring light and support, to build bridges of mutual understanding and to remind everyone that even a small kind act can change the world. The participants and organizers spoke about values that unite people regardless of age, culture and geography — about kindness, care, respect and the ability to hear each other.
The interactive format elicited a particularly strong response. Everyone could write down one universal value on a large banner, so that the individual fragments would form a complete picture, creating a vibrant mosaic of meanings. Well‑known figures in culture and arts, members of the public and deputies gladly joined the interactive activity. Everyone from young to old took part in the campaign: children diligently wrote out the first letters, teenagers formulated their values, adults shared their life principles and the older generation reminded everyone of the eternal benchmarks. The event left no one indifferent. Everyone found a word that resonated in their heart.
Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, shared her main life principle: “Happiness is love.” Her words became the emotional center and an accurate expression of the essence of the campaign, because it is love — consisting of caring for loved ones, showing attention to strangers and treating the world with care — that makes happiness real and shared.
It is important that projects aimed at spreading goodness and constructive principles receive significant support. They are implemented with the assistance of the Presidential Grants Fund and grants of the Mayor of Moscow. This confirms that society’s demand for values that unite and inspire people is particularly high today and the role of such projects is extremely important for meeting that demand.
"When thousands of small, kind impulses combine into one big wave, it can transform a face of an entire city," note the organizers. — Join the movement of kindness — may there be more happy letters!
The "Letters of Happiness" campaign proved once again: happiness is not in big words, but in simple but sincere actions, in the ability to share warmth and see value in every person.
