Majorca hosted the Festival of Ancestral Culture "Gifts from the Ancestors"
The first International Festival of Ancestral Culture "Gifts from the Ancestors" was held on June 5 - 7 2026 on the island of Mallorca (Spain). The event brought together more than 50 genealogists, educators, cultural scientists, psychologists, genealogists, gambling practitioners and representatives of public associations from Spain, Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Germany, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan to draw the attention of the international community to the topic of preserving and developing the ancestral culture of the peoples of the world. The organizers are the Council on Ancestral Culture of the World Peoples Assembly and the International Council of the Academy of Rodology.
The festival has become a platform for dialogue about the importance of ancestral memory, family traditions and intergenerational continuity in the modern world. The participants' attention was drawn not only to the topic of ancestral memory, but also to the modern understanding of the family as a space of responsibility, continuity and cultural heritage.

She thanked the members of the Council on Ancestral Culture for the international initiative and invited all interested parties to participate in the Second World Public Assembly, which will take place in September in Moscow.
