"Manuscripts Don't Burn": A Creative Meeting with Artist Ksenia Znachkova Will Open an Exhibition About Mikhail Bulgakov at the House of the Russian Abroad
On October 8, 2026, the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad hosted a creative meeting and guided tour with artist Ksenia Znachkova. The event will open her solo exhibition "Manuscripts Don't Burn," dedicated to Mikhail Bulgakov.
At the exhibition, the artist will present paintings and graphics in various techniques, as well as models based on the writer's works.
Ksenia Znachkova is an artist, a participant in all-Russian and international exhibitions, a member of the Creative Union of Professional Artists and the Association of Plein Air Artists. Her works are held in state museums and private collections.
The guest star of the evening will be theater and film actress, laureate of Russian and international competitions, and continuer of an acting dynasty Elena Sokolova. The actress is a member of the company of the Moscow Drama Theater "Benefis," appears in films, and gives original concerts in Russia and abroad in Russian and French.
At the meeting at the House of the Russian Abroad, Elena Sokolova will share her love of theater and the living word with guests, creating an atmosphere in harmony with the universe of Mikhail Bulgakov and the works of artist Ksenia Znachkova.
