Representative of the World Peoples Assembly Andrey Nazarov has been Elected Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan

The 36th session of the State Assembly – Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan took place on September 24, 2026, in Ufa. The key issue on the agenda was the election of the chairperson of the region’s highest legislative authority.

On the proposal of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, Andrei Nazarov, Deputy of the State Assembly, Head of the Representative Office of the World Peoples Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia), was proposed for the post of Chairman. He received unanimous support from all political factions and parties represented in the Parliament.

Assuming office, Andrey Nazarov expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Republic, his colleagues, and the people of Bashkortostan for the trust placed in him. According to him, the region is already one of the most comfortable places to live, and now the main task is to preserve this foundation, multiply achievements and ensure the steady development of the Republic.
