The creative action of collective painting of the elephant sculpture became the most striking part of the World Public Summit “New World: India in the Architecture of the Shared Future”, held in New Delhi on March 23 – 26, 2026. Within the project, everyone had the opportunity to put their creative forces to work on the creation of a unique art object – a large elephant with a raised trunk, symbolizing happiness and well-being. The idea was conceived by Alyona Dolgopolova, Official Secretary of the World Peoples Assembly.

As noted by Marina Volkova, Head of the Happiness Department of the World Peoples Assembly, each participant was requested to share his own formula of happiness, expressing it in colors. For example, blue is the sky, green is our planet, and orange is the sun. The elephant turned out to be truly colorful, reflecting a vast palette of emotions and cultures. The event was a living confirmation that creativity knows no boundaries and no age: adults shared joy and inspiration with the same passion as children, imbued with the unifying power of culture. The entire team of the World Public Summit in India enthusiastically supported the action, helping to organize the process and create a warm, friendly atmosphere for the participants.

In memory of the event, each participant of the coloring received a special "Letter of Happiness" postcard. Soon, the unique elephant will leave New Delhi for Moscow, where it will be presented at the II World Public Summit in September.

Similar interactive programs with symbols of happiness will be held in each country hosting regional summits.

– It is through joint creative leisure activities centered around symbols of happiness, that genuine friendship and understanding between the peoples of the world are born, – the organizers of the event are confident.
