The International Teleconference «Path to Profession: Mentorship without Boundaries» Brought Together Schoolchildren from Russia and China
The international teleconference «Path to Profession: Mentorship without Boundaries» took place at the children’s health camp «Nastavnik» (eng. «Mentor») of the All‑Russian Children’s Center «Smena» in August 2026. Schoolchildren from Russia and China who took part in the event:
got acquainted with the culture and traditions of the two countries;
discussed the features of the Russian and Chinese educational systems;
talked about scholastic profession and the role of mentor in the modern world;
shared ideas for future joint projects.
A live dialogue became the key feature of the event: schoolchildren discussed what had particularly surprised and interested them in the culture of each other’s country and noted that they share a respectful attitude towards education, mentorship and a responsible choice of their future profession.
The teleconference became a platform for mutual respect, cultural dialogue and search for common ground. It allowed young people from both countries not only to learn more about each other but also to feel the unifying power of shared values. It became an important step towards developing international cooperation between schoolchildren from Russia and China.
The Department of Happiness of the World Peoples Assembly presented its programs and projects during the event, emphasizing the importance of public diplomacy, intercultural interaction and support for young talents.
The implementation of the original educational program «Future Teachers of Russia and China» was carried out with the assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Organizational support for the meeting was provided by the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University).
