The Program of the Second World Public Assembly in Moscow has been Announced
At the end of August 2026, the program of the Second World Public Assembly «New World: Values that unite» was presented in Moscow. The international forum organized by the World Peoples Assembly will be held on September 18–19 at the World Trade Center Moscow.
The event will bring together international experts, including:
Matthew Ehret — journalist, political analyst, founder of Canadian Patriot Review (Canada);
Peter Kuznick — professor at American University in Washington and Paris, founder of the Nuclear Studies Institute (USA);
Fidel Antonio Castro-Smirnov — Academician of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, professor at the University of Havana (Cuba);
Hélène Perroux — public figure, adviser to President of France Jacques Chirac from 1995 to 2007, expert on Russian-French relations (France);
Lindiwe Sisulu — state and political figure, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa in 2018–2019, Minister of Defence and Military Veterans in 2009–2012, Minister of Tourism in 2021–2023;
Mohamed El-Orabi — President of the Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Association (Egypt);
John Warren — television presenter (United Kingdom);
Ali Nasser Muhammad — President of the Arab Peace Group, President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen in 1980–1986;
Sameep Shastri — President of the Confederation of Young Leaders of India, Chairman of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
Amr Ezzat Salama — Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities (Egypt);
Pan Zhiqi — filmmaker, winner of international competitions (China),
and many others.
The central event of the first day will be the Main Plenary Session «New World: Values that unite». Its participants will present their vision of the values that, preserving the cultural, historical and civilizational diversity of peoples, can become a foundation for trust, cooperation and shared responsibility for the future.
- Today, as the international situation becomes increasingly complex, it is especially important to prevent the rupture of ties between people and societies. States may have different assessments of the processes taking place in the world, but this does not negate the need to talk, to seek common ground and to respond together to challenges that concern all of humanity. The Second World Public Assembly is a new step in the development of international public initiatives based not on confrontation, but on dialogue, creation and support for traditional values. And it is fundamentally important that it is Russia that is initiating this unifying format, open to representatives of different countries, cultures and views. Undoubtedly, such platforms are more relevant than ever, said Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly.
One of the key themes of the program will be trust as a foundation of a new international cooperation. Participants will discuss humanitarian modernization, return of meaning and values to civilizational development, historical memory and responsibility for the future, role of family in preserving humanity, international cooperation among civil society institutions, and linguistic and cultural heritage.
A significant place in the program is devoted to a future and a new generation. The II International Youth Forum «Generation of Unity» will discuss values of the new world and diplomacy of the new generation. One of the relevant topics will be the impact of artificial intelligence on an individual and society.
A separate segment will be dedicated to education, science and human capital development. Heads of the universities that are partners of the World Peoples Assembly will discuss modern educational technologies as a strategic resource of a new world order. The program also includes discussions on international partnership in science and education, as well as on new formats of cooperation between Russia and other countries.
The Assembly will bring together not only discussion platforms, but also practical formats of interaction: meetings, press briefings and interviews, signing of agreements, the exhibition “Values that unite,”, youth, business and cultural events.
The main days of the forum will be preceded by a program on September 17, 2026. It will include Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival “Won Together”, the final of the 5th International competition “Leader of public diplomacy”, the international forum “Space: a realm of peace, trust and cooperation,” and the media forum “Media in the service of humanity”.
The Second World Public Assembly will end with the summering up its outcomes and a solemn awarding ceremony of the World Public Recognition Award “For Service to Humanity.”
