World Peoples Assembly Delegation Met with the Iraqi Teachers Union in Baghdad

The World Peoples Assembly delegation held an official meeting with the Iraqi Teachers Union headed by the organization's President Uday Khattam Al-Isawi.

The Union, which has more than 1,200,000 members, has been defending the rights and interests of teachers for almost a hundred years, playing a key role in the development of the country's education system.

"It is a great honor for us to meet with an organization with such history," noted World Peoples Assembly Secretary-General Andrey Belyaninov.

The parties devoted a significant part of the meeting to discussing the role of youth, the upbringing of future generations, and responsibility for what kind of world they will inherit. Representatives of the World Peoples Assembly presented the goals and objectives of the upcoming Arab Summit, receiving a lively response and interest in participation and support.

Special attention was given to the idea of holding a forum for teachers from 22 countries. The importance of creating a permanent platform for experience exchange between educators from different states was emphasized.

Following the meeting, the President of the Iraqi Teachers Union Uday Khattam Al-Isawi confirmed readiness for active cooperation with the World Peoples Assembly in the educational sphere.
