The World Public Recognition Award “For Service to Humanity” was established by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations “World Peoples Assembly”.

The Award is a form of international public recognition of outstanding merit in service to humanity.

It is granted for an exceptional contribution to strengthening peace and trust between nations, the development of international humanitarian cooperation and service to the ideals of humanity.

The Award was presented for the first time on 21 September 2025 at the First World Public Assembly “A New World of Conscious Unity”.

Starting from 2026, the Award becomes a permanent institution of the World Public Summit and its regional formats.

Goals and Objectives of the Award

Support of outstanding achievements in public diplomacy, international and intercultural cooperation
Recognition of personal contribution to service to humanity, strengthening peace and trust between nations, promoting humanistic values
Building an international community of public leaders who share the ideas of conscious unity, mutual respect, friendship, harmony and good neighbourliness
Promotion of humanitarian initiatives and public practices aimed at creation, cooperation and service to people
Development of a culture of public service solidarity and responsibility for a common future

Who can become a laureate

Public figures, statesmen and politicians, representatives of science, culture, education, public diplomacy, humanitarian and charitable work, as well as other people whose achievements and activities correspond to the goals and values of the Award.

Procedure

How the Award is granted

  1. Nomination of candidates
    The International Organizing Committee of the World Public Assembly reviews proposals and draws up the list of nominees for the Award.

  2. Selection of laureates
    The General Council of the World Peoples Assembly reviews the nominations submitted and selects the laureates of the Award.

  3. Approval of the laureates
    The list of laureates is approved by the Secretary-General of the World Peoples Assembly.

  4. Presentation of the Award
    The formal award ceremony takes place within the World Public Assembly.
