A Russian‑Chinese Memorandum on the Development of Volunteering and Public Diplomacy has been signed
The Memorandum of cooperation was signed by representatives of the Russian National Center for People's Diplomacy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Chinese Center for Volunteer Services in the field of socially useful culture "Pioneer" on July 8, 2026 during a visit to Wuxi (China). The document establishes the parties' intentions to develop a long-term partnership in the field of public diplomacy and volunteerism.
The objectives of signing the document were:
strengthening friendship between the peoples of Russia and China;
deepening humanitarian, educational, trade and economic exchanges;
support for joint public initiatives.
Special attention in the course of cooperation is planned to be paid to the development of cultural programs and volunteer actions that promote mutual understanding and trust between the citizens of the two countries.
