«Bashkortostan - Home of Friendship»: A Ceremonial Event Dedicated to National Unity Day was held in Bashkortostan with the Support of the World Peoples Assembly

The ceremonial event «Bashkortostan - Home of Friendship» took place on November 3, 2026 in Ufa. The event, dedicated to National Unity Day, was organized by the Ufa People’s University of the Third Age with support from the Representative Office of the World Peoples Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia).

The meeting was moderated by Professor Rustem Akhmadinurov, Chair of the Coordination Council of the People’s University, member of the Public Council of the World Peoples Assembly Representative Office in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia) and First Deputy Chair of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth Policy and Sports.

The event was attended by creative groups from the social center, as well as representatives of the region’s national and cultural associations. Students of the People’s University prepared a cultural program featuring national dances, a performance by spoon players and readings of poems by the Bashkir poet Mustai Karim.

Concluding the meeting, Rustem Akhmadinurov emphasized the special role of such events in preserving interethnic and intergenerational ties.
