President of the Republic of Iraq recieved the delegation of World Peoples Assembly

His Excellency the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Baghdad Palace, the World Peoples Assembly delegation headed by its Secretary-General Andrey Belyaninov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of international initiatives that promote dialogue between peoples and consolidate the values of peace and cooperation, the most important of which is the possibility of holding the Arab Summit in Iraq in cooperation with the World Peoples Assembly organization.

The President of the Republic welcomed these initiatives, explaining that Iraq's cultural heritage and cultural status make it an important partner and a suitable environment for conducting international events aimed at building a future based on mutual understanding and development. The President also noted Iraq's interest and its role in strengthening regional stability in light of accelerating global transformations, and emphasized the importance of strengthening the foundations of constructive dialogue between peoples.

For his part, Andrey Belyaninov expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic, expressing hope that he would approve the opening of the Arab Summit and head the honorary organizing committee of the summit, which is planned to be held in April of next year in Baghdad.
