International Roundtable in India discussed the Role of Women in Shaping the Value Approach
On March 26, 2026, the international roundtable "The Role of Women in Shaping the Value Approach" was held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Russian House) in New Delhi. The event was part of the World Public Summit: India "New World: India in the Architecture of a Shared Future", and was organized by the World Peoples Assembly and the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of India.
The event brought together women leaders representing international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as experts in education, science, culture, and communication, representatives of scientific and educational institutions and centers from various countries.
The participants were welcomed by the following speakers:
- Svetlana Smirnova – Chairperson of the General Council of the World Peoples Assembly;
- Elena Remizova – Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India;
- Elena Barman – Chair of the Coordination Council of the Association of Russian Compatriots in India, Member of the World Coordination Council of Compatriots.
The roundtable's key presentation was made by Yanina Dubeykovskaya, Deputy Executive Director of the World Peoples Assembly, President of the Women's Influence Association, and author of the "Manifesto of Women's Influence." In her presentation "Manifesto of Women's Influence and Its Role in the Global Approach" she gave a vision of a new energy of women's leadership that can make the world more sustainable and humane.
During the session, "My Path of Influence: Leaving a Valuable Legacy for the Future," distinguished guests from various countries shared their perspectives. They are:
- Nurul Ashikin Binti Shamsuri – founder of the Fearless Foundation (Malaysia);
- Shobha Kapoor – Head of the Department of Partnership and Corporate Communications at the National Book Trust of the Ministry of Education, India;
- Anar Izden – Chair of the Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations in the Kyzylorda Region (Kazakhstan);
- Jiotika Bedi – psychologist, social innovation leader, founder of the Happiness is Love organization, and architect of the Anam Kara mentoring program.
- Rayala Nitu Naidu – Vice-Chairman of the Indian Diaspora, Director of the Hyderabad Representative Office of the Worlds Peoples Assembly;
- Ranjana Kumari – Director of the Centre for Social Research, Delhi, Chairperson of the National Women's Groups Organization, Women Power Connect;
- Sachar Zaman – Indian journalist and TV presenter for CNN India, TV Today, Bloomberg TV;
- Marlize Ndjenga – Editor-in-Chief of Valeurs Ajoutees Magazine, President of Global Horizon Group;
- Nilakshi Suryanarayanan is an expert on Russian language and culture in India and a member of the Association of Alumni of Russian and Soviet Universities.
Speaking to the participants of the roundtable, Alyona Kuzmenko, President of the Unity Charitable Foundation, noted:
– Today, women are not only shaping the agenda, but also the value backbone of the future. It is through education, culture, and open dialogue that we can convey the ideas of creation, responsibility, and unity that underlie the sustainable development of the international community.
During the discussion, the participants discussed the key challenges of our time related to the strengthening of traditional values, the role of women in making strategic decisions on the international stage, and the importance of preserving cultural identity in the face of global changes. Special attention was paid to the issues of mentorship, the development of women's leadership in science and education, and the formation of sustainable international communications based on mutual respect and trust.
The event was held in an atmosphere of open and meaningful dialogue, confirming the need for women leaders from different countries to unite their efforts in order to create a shared value space in the architecture of the new world.
