World Peoples Assembly Representative took part in the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum 2026 held in New York
The United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN) Youth Forum was held on April 14 - 16, 2026 at the UN Headquarters in New York. The Russian delegation, led by the head of Rosmolodezh, Grigory Gurov, included the Head of the Department for the Development of International Education and Partnership of the World Peoples Assembly, PhD in Cultural Studies Alana Kochieva.
The forum was held under the theme “Innovate, Unite and Transform: Youth Shaping the Road to 2030” and brought together young leaders, innovators, and activists from around the world. The Forum focused on transformative, equitable, innovative, and coordinated actions to advance the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals:
· ensuring access to water and sanitation (SDG–6),
· ensuring access to affordable and clean energy sources (SDG-7),
· industrialization, innovation and infrastructure development (SDG-9),
· promoting the sustainable development of cities and human settlements (SDG-11),
· strengthening partnership for Sustainable Development (SDG17).
The program was dedicated to finding innovative solutions to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs. The results and recommendations of the forum will be included in the program of the upcoming UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, where member states will review progress towards achieving the SDGs.

The UN Economic and Social Council Forum is a key dialogue platform where young leaders can participate directly in shaping the organization’s global agenda and policy discussions, proposing collective ideas and initiatives to achieve sustainable development goals.
