The International Project "We are Together!" summed up the Outcomes
The International project "We are together!"- the winner of the Grant Competition of the World Peoples Assembly "Trust and Unity", summed up its work.
The project is aimed at developing international cooperation between women's business communities in Russia, Tunisia, Africa and the Middle East, creating new platforms for communication, exchange of experience and the formation of sustainable humanitarian and business ties.
For several months, the participants consistently built a space for dialogue between representatives of business, public organizations, educational institutions and cultural communities. The project includes online conferences, thematic discussions, international meetings, and presentations of successful practices and business initiatives. A total of 6 events were held, bringing together about 200 participants from Russia, Tunisia and other countries in Africa and the Middle East. The information coverage of the project has exceeded 50,000 people in 10 countries around the world.
Cooperation with Tunisian partners was of particular importance for the development of the project. Already during the preparatory phase, online meetings were organized with representatives of the Tunisian Association of Russian Language and Literature Teachers, the Tunisian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs of Tunisia, National Office of the Arts of Tunisia and other organizations. The participants discussed the development of women's entrepreneurship, support for the Russian language, promotion of cultural and educational initiatives, as well as prospects for expanding humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
The culmination of the project was the International Women's Entrepreneurship Forum "We are Together!", which was held in Tunis on April 27, 2026. It is important to note that the Forum was included in the official program of the Days of the World Peoples Assembly in the Tunisian Republic and became one of the key events on the international business and humanitarian agenda of the Assembly in the country. The Forum brought together women entrepreneurs, public figures, experts, cultural, educational and government representatives from Russia, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Cameroon, Egypt, Libya, the UAE and other countries. It was organized by the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Russia together with the Tunisian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs of Tunisia. The Forum was supported by the World Peoples Assembly, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Tunis and the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Tunisian Republic.
Opening the Forum, Svetlana Smirnova, Chairperson of the General Council of the World Peoples Assembly, emphasized the special role of public diplomacy and international women's cooperation in building trust between peoples. The participants focused on issues of preserving cultural heritage, supporting women's entrepreneurial initiatives, developing handicrafts, tourism, education, and community projects.
Considerable attention was paid to the topic of cultural diplomacy. The Forum featured a presentation of the International Creative Action "Peace Belt", which was presented by Olga Nefedova, Deputy Executive Director of the World Peoples Assembly. The participants also got acquainted with the exhibition of African women artists "Women's Stories of Africa", took part in discussions about women's leadership and the preservation of cultural codes in the modern world.
A separate area of the Forum's work was the development of practical cooperation between Russian and Tunisian entrepreneurs. Representatives of both countries presented projects in the fields of tourism, agriculture, innovative technologies and social initiatives. Negotiations and discussions took place on the prospects of joint projects and areas of further cooperation.
The outcomes of the project showed a high demand for such international platforms. As a result of the discussions, three international initiatives were accepted for further development:
the project in the field of business diplomacy “The Art of Management”,
“Pioneers of the Universe” International Space Festival for Children and Youth,
International Youth Music Festival.
The main result of the project is the creation of conditions for a trust-based dialogue and the formation of new international partnerships. The Forum and its events demonstrated that public diplomacy remains one of the most effective tools for strengthening mutual understanding between peoples and developing humanitarian cooperation.
- The "We are Together!" project has confirmed that stable international relations are born where people are ready to hear each other, respect cultural diversity and jointly seek solutions to common problems. This is the approach that underlies the activities of the World Peoples Assembly and its international initiatives," - the organizers of the Grant Competition noted.
