The Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory thanked the members of the World Peoples Assembly leaders of the International Art Project "Angels of Peace" for their active cooperation and significant contribution to the development of the culture of the region. Awarded:

  • Natalia Yatsenko — Director of ANO "Art project "Angels of Peace",

  • Oleg Rovda — PR Director of ANO "Art project "Angels of Peace".

- "Angels of Peace" is a unique peacemaking platform, born in Krasnoyarsk; it proved that art is able to unite people of different cultures, traditions and faiths, helping them in the most difficult life situations. It reminds us that the values of love, gratitude and mutual assistance are the same for all mankind. Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory have something to be proud of for the upcoming 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk! — noted in the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The World Peoples Assembly would like to thank the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and personally the Minister of Culture Arkady Zinov for their appreciation of the International Art Project "Angels of Peace" and their long-term cooperation with cultural institutions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The “Angels of Peace” project is based on the calendar principle: each painting is linked to a specific day of the year (the author's birthday, a significant event in life, the world, etc.). 366 artists from all over the world act as a single creator, creating a grandiose art object - the "Calendar of Angels of Peace".

Over the past 12 years, the project has proved its relevance: artists from 25 countries of the world took part in it - people of different cultures, traditions and faiths. More than 430 exhibitions of his works were held in Russia and abroad.

"This makes the project an unprecedented example of cultural and spiritual dialogue that transcends religious and national boundaries," the organizers note.

The key feature of the "Angels of Peace" is non-confessional. The image of an angel in the project is interpreted not as a religious symbol of a certain tradition, but as a universal archetype of protection, hope and goodness, understandable to everyone regardless of religion.

The project is supported by the World Peoples Assembly and the Ministry of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
