Participants of "Health Preservation in Greater Eurasian Space" Conference Discussed Interaction between State, Science, and Society to Improve Quality of Life

The III International Conference "Health Preservation in Greater Eurasian Space" took place on June 3, 2026, at the headquarters of the World Peoples Assembly and online. The event brought together more than 300 participants from Russia, China, India, South Africa, Senegal, the Republic of Mali, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Vietnam, Egypt, Australia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

The conference was part of the international project "Health Preservation in New Protocols of Interaction between the State, Science and Society" under the program of the World Peoples Assembly "Towards Sustainable Development". It included:

  • plenary session,

  • section "Health Preservation as Foundation for Sustainable Development of Society and Economy in Common Eurasian Space",

  • roundtable "Comprehensive and Preventive Approach to Health as Investment in Future".

During the event, 42 speakers gave presentations — scientists, experts in health preservation and longevity, and public figures in the field of healthcare.

Co-Chair of the Supreme Advisory Council of the World Peoples Assembly, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Alexandra Ochirova spoke about the importance of developing the topic of health as part of the major state task of preserving the nation.

The speakers included:

  • Yulia Petrova — Deputy Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly;

  • Vladimir Lishchuk — Full Member (Academician) of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and Arts, Vice President of the International Association of Distinguished Figures in Science, Culture, Education and Art "Unity";

  • Wang Shujun — Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of Beijing Guosheng Huaqiang International Resource Technology Development Company (China);

  • Vladimir Shabalin — Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, President of the Russian Association of Gerontologists and Geriatricians, Vice President of the Scientific Gerontological Society of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the First Research Institute of Rehabilitation;

  • Vladimir Kupin — Head of Regional Programs of the International Association "Quality of Life";

  • Ibrahim Dian — Doctor of Biological Sciences, Molecular Biologist, Expert in Pharmaceutical Safety and Innovation, Participant and Expert of the Valdai Club (Senegal);

  • Elena Shuraeva — Head of the BRICS Health Consortium;

  • Diarra Hadja Niame Mariam Fofana — Public Figure, Director of the Regional Branch of the National Employment Agency of the Republic of Mali;

  • Sergey Shtepa — Director of the All-Russian Rehabilitation Thalasso Center;

  • Amir Mohamed Saleh — Professor, Doctor of Philosophy, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Cairo City University (Egypt)

and many others.

The draft resolution of the conference included initiatives proposed by the participants for joint implementation:

  • establish professional ties between the company "Guosheng Huaqiang. Beijing International Resource Technology" and Russian organizations involved in health preservation that are interested in cooperation with Chinese partners;

  • consider the issue of supporting the project to create an international Center for Integrative and Complementary Medicine in one of the major cities of Russia;

  • support the holding, starting from 2027, of the festival-forum "100% Health. Great Health" within the framework of the Russian-Chinese project "One Belt, One Road. Cultural Belt of the Great Tea Route".

The World Peoples Assembly, the Institute of Peoples of Eurasia, and the National Online School "FreeDom" intend to continue their joint work and take part in key international events on health preservation in 2026.
