The 21st Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival "Won Together" has launched the Applications Reception Campaign
The 21st Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival "Won Together" opened applications reception on June 22, 2026. The cultural event will bring together documentary filmmakers from all over the world, revealing in their work the theme of victory in various spheres of life, reflecting the ideas of peacemaking, religious tolerance and humanism.
The festival events will take place in Moscow and Sochi from September to October. They will include:
screenings of competitive works,
screenings of out-of-competition works, including throughout Russia as part of the annual "Won Together" Film Marathon,
meetings with directors,
round tables,
open lectures,
master classes
and much more.
Applications for participation in the Film Festival will be accepted from June 22 to June 30 on the official website of the Film Festival in accordance with the Regulations.
The Festival program includes 2 contests:
International documentary Film Competition, consisting of three blocks:
"Memory" (works dedicated to the events, exploits and memory of the Great Patriotic War and World War II);
"Reflection" (works dedicated to achievements and overcoming obstacles in the modern world);
Student documentaries and animated films.
National Documentary Film Competition (on historical and modern topics).
The competition accepts works produced in 2025-2026 for participation:
documentaries;
documentary projects for TV and online platforms;
debuts.
The organizers of the Film Festival are the World Peoples Assembly, ANO “Integration”, the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio, LLC “Intellectual Resource”. The Festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
