The "Kolba - 2026" Award for Women Scientists Opens the Reception of Applications
The VI Award for women scientists "Kolba" began accepting applications in early November 2026. The event is organized by the Women in Nuclear Russia Foundation for the Development of Professional Initiatives.
The award and the forum of the same name are supported by the World Peoples Assembly within the international project "To the Museum - Today, to Science - Tomorrow!" and the project "Women in Science and Technology". Representatives of the Assembly are also members of the Board of Trustees and Expert Councils of the Kolba project.
The forum and the award bring together women who develop different areas of science, popularize innovative technologies, research and education. The project gives participants additional opportunities to talk about their achievements, present projects to a wide audience, and become part of the professional community of women scientists.
- Why is it important to talk about your achievements? Every scientific development is based on years of work, research, experiments, professional experience and a team. However, many significant results remain known mainly within the professional community. The Kolba Award is presented in 27 nominations and helps to make women's achievements more visible, to give their work well-deserved recognition, - the organizers say. - If you are engaged in research, create new technologies, or implement scientific and educational projects, declare yourself!
Applications for the Award will be accepted until December 31, 2026. The award ceremony will take place within the forum on April 9, 2027.
