The Role of Young Leaders in Shaping International Cooperation was Discussed at the Summit in Brazil
The strategic session "Generation of Unity: Young Leaders as Architects of Global Solutions" was held on June 16, 2026 at the site of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in Salvador (Brazil). The event became a part of the World Public Summit: Latin America "New World: Latin America in Shaping a Shared Future".
The event was organized by the World Peoples Assembly and the International Center "New Generation of Eurasia" with the assistance of the Brazilian trade union organization Central dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras do Brasil (CTB). The session was attended by representatives of international, public, educational and cultural organizations, youth leaders and researchers.
Welcoming words were addressed to the participants:
Paulo Cesar Migues de Oliveira– Rector of the Federal University of Bahia;
Alime Kukoeva – Head of the Directorate for Youth Cooperation of the World Peoples Assembly;
Enrique Dominguez - National Secretary for Working Youth Policy at CTB.
During the strategic session, speakers from Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, India, the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, and Morocco shared their professional views and practical experience in international relations, youth diplomacy, sustainable development, journalism, public leadership, and expert analysis. The session participants paid special attention to the development of international youth cooperation, strengthening intercultural dialogue, empowering young leaders and forming joint initiatives aimed at addressing modern global challenges.
