A special screening of the documentary film “Sky Open to All” by director Vyacheslav Serkez, held as part of the Eurasian Documentary Film Club, will take place on 3 August 2026 at the Central Officers’ Club of the Aerospace Forces (TsOK VKS) in Moscow. The event is organised by the World Peoples Assembly and the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio.

The film focuses on Russian athletes with disabilities who engage in extreme and technically demanding sports – from parachute jumping and para‑diving to sailing regattas and water expeditions. At its core are the personal stories of individuals who have overcome severe injuries and returned to active, fulfilling lives.

The documentary weaves together coverage of international competitions with deeply personal accounts, exploring themes of inner strength, choice and human dignity.

Director Vyacheslav Serkez commented:

- This film is not about overcoming as a heroic feat. It is about the ordinary – about a person’s right to live fully, to take risks, to win, and to feel the height, even if at some point you were told that the sky is not for you.

The screening starts at 18:00 (Moscow time). Admission is free.

Venue: 6 Pavlova Street, Moscow (metro station: Serpukhovskaya).
