The panel session "Scientific, Educational and Business Partnership in the Greater Eurasian Space" was held on 18 September 2026 at the World Trade Center. The event became part of the Second World Public Assembly "New World: Values That Unite", taking place in Moscow from 18 to 19 September.

The participants discussed the development of scientific, educational and humanitarian interaction, the sustainability of cultural and economic corridors, digitalization, as well as a new model of solidarity-based integration based on complementarity and a balance of humanitarian and business projects of the Greater Eurasian countries. The discussion was attended by representatives of science, education, culture and the international expert community from Russia, Vietnam, Senegal, Bulgaria, Egypt, Germany, Jordan and other countries.

The moderators were Advisor to the Chairman of the General Council of the World Peoples Assembly, Ambassador of Russian Education and Science in Vietnam, staff member of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation Thi Tuyet Khanh and Vice-President of the International Academy of Fundamental Education, member of the World Peoples Assembly Irina Nesterenko-Kostenko. The discussion focused on deepening the activities of the BRICS community in Eurasia and Africa, as well as publishing, library and museum cooperation as a format of information presence in the media space of Greater Eurasia.

— We are convinced that it is trust, mutual assistance, open dialogue and respect for sovereignty that are capable of uniting humanity in the face of new challenges. But there is a value that does not divide us into friends and strangers, — the World Ocean. It breathes for us, feeds us, inspires us. Protecting the ocean begins with education and concrete steps, noted Vice-President of the Russian Committee of Solidarity and Cooperation with the Peoples of Asia and Africa Anzhelika Butaeva.

She proposed supplementing existing international platforms and scientific centers for the study of the ocean and climate with a new format of dialogue — with the exchange of knowledge between scientists and young researchers. According to her, projects for the preservation of the marine environment can be integrated into the curricula of schools and universities: this does not require large resources, but it forms in the younger generation a sense of responsibility and the habit of thinking about consequences. Anzhelika Butaeva also proposed establishing on a permanent basis an international competition for young researchers on ocean protection and creating a council for scientific, educational and humanitarian partnership — a permanent platform where universities, scientific centers and public organizations could launch concrete projects.

Member of Parliament of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Abdel Hadi Al Breizat is convinced: "True integration is impossible without investment in people." He named support for youth and projects in the fields of water resources, energy, healthcare, technology and food security as key areas of joint work.

— Knowledge is the force capable of turning a shared geographic space into a true partnership for the future of humanity, emphasized Abdel Hadi Al Breizat.

The discussion was also attended by:

  • Ilyas Umakhanov — First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture;

  • Michael Padilla Pagan Payano — professor, Chief Executive Officer of the international law firm Horizon Management Company;

  • Wang Chuanbao — Chairman of the Board of the "Chinese Community" society;

  • Sophia Tian — Editor-in-Chief of the publication "Chinese Media";

  • Marina Zakharenko — Director General of the Library of Foreign Literature named after M.M. Rudomino.

Following the discussion, the participants unanimously supported the initiative to create a "Greater Eurasia" working group with the participation of the World Peoples Assembly and all interested parties. The Russian Committee of Solidarity and Cooperation with the Peoples of Asia and Africa expressed its full readiness to join the implementation of the project.
