World Peoples Assembly and the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture have signed a Cooperation Agreement

On February 20, 2026, in Bratislava, the Deputy Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly, Jurijs Trakselis met with representatives of the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture (EFSLC) took place.

Jurijs Trakselis presented the main activities of the World Peoples Assembly; he emphasized the importance of strengthening international humanitarian dialogue and the development of public diplomacy.

The President of the European Foundation for Slavic Literature and Culture, Professor Igor Bondarenko, spoke about the organization's activities, including support for the Russian language in schools, gymnasiums and universities in Slovakia; work with young people on the preservation of historical truth; exhibition and publishing activities.

The participants of the meeting paid special attention to discussing the prospects of the international project "One Victory for All".

Following the meeting, the parties signed a cooperation agreement and outlined further steps to develop joint initiatives.

– The signed agreement opens for us a new stage of partnership aimed at strengthening cultural ties, supporting humanitarian initiatives and developing international public cooperation. There are joint projects, dialogue and creative work ahead for the benefit of preserving historical memory and cultural heritage," concluded Jurijs Trakselis after the meeting.
