World Peoples Assembly Will Take Part in the 6th World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan

World Peoples Assembly will take part in the grand opening of the 6th World Nomad Games, which will be held from August 31 to September 6, 2026, in Kyrgyzstan.

During the World Nomad Games, the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, together with ethnic public associations, will open the “Dostuk Ordo” ethnic zone, where it will present the culture, way of life, and traditions of the country’s numerous peoples. The venue will become a space for intercultural communication, the exchange of experience, and the discussion of practices for strengthening interethnic harmony, social unity, and tolerance.

At the opening of the ethno‑zone, the World Peoples Assembly will be represented by:

  • Andrey Belyaninov — Secretary General,

  • Svetlana Smirnova — Chairperson of the General Council,

  • Stanislav Korolev — Deputy Secretary General.

The program includes a parade of ethnic groups in traditional costumes, performances by akyns and manaschis, a concert by creative groups from ethnic public associations, folk games, master classes, and the “Dostuk Chay” tea ceremony. Meder Rahman, Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, will address the participants and honorable guests with a greeting.

The participation of representatives of the World Peoples Assembly in the World Nomad Games will contribute to the development of humanitarian ties, the preservation of the cultural heritage of peoples, and the strengthening of international dialogue.
