Representatives of Jordanian Public Organizations Met with a Delegation of the World Peoples Assembly

The meeting between the delegation of the World Peoples Assembly and representatives of public organizations of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan took place on July 8, 2026, at the World Peoples Assembly Representation in Jordan, headed by Dr. Salam Tual.

The event was attended by representatives of organizations such as:

• World Peoples Assembly headed by Secretary-General Andrey Belyaninov;

• Jordanian-Russian Friendship Society headed by Chairman Youssef Hamdan;

• Ibn Sina Club of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities headed by President Jamil Al-Khatib;

and many others. 

During the meeting, issues related to the preparation of the World Public Summit: Arab World, scheduled for November 2026 in Amman, as well as the prospects for the participation of Jordanian public organizations in its work, were discussed.

The participants paid special attention to the development of public diplomacy, education, humanitarian cooperation, the expansion of academic and cultural exchanges, the strengthening of ties between graduates of Russian and Soviet universities, as well as the further development of friendly relations between Jordan and Russia.

Representatives of the World Peoples Assembly presented the concept of the World Public Summit: Arab World as a new international platform bringing together leaders of public diplomacy, representatives of international organizations, government bodies, civil society institutions, the scientific and expert community, educational and cultural institutions, youth and women's associations, business circles and mass media for the development of international cooperation, strengthening trust and implementing joint humanitarian initiatives.

The participants of the meeting noted the crucial role of public organizations in strengthening mutual understanding between peoples, developing cultural dialogue and implementing joint international humanitarian initiatives, expressed interest in developing cooperation with the World Peoples Assembly, and confirmed their readiness to take part in the preparation and holding of the First World Public Summit: Arab World.
