The Second World Public Assembly will Bring Together Representatives of Public Diplomacy from More Than 150 Countries Around the World in September

The Second World Public Assembly "New World: Values That Unite" will take place on September 18–19, 2026, in Russia, at the Moscow International Trade Center. The event will bring together representatives of public diplomacy, international non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations, government bodies, the diplomatic corps, civil society institutions, expert and academic communities, as well as representatives from the fields of education, culture, business, youth organizations, mass media, spiritual leaders, and public figures from more than 150 countries around the world. Over 5,000 representatives of the international community are expected to participate.

The World Public Assembly is an international platform for public dialogue dedicated to the search for values that can strengthen trust between peoples, develop international humanitarian cooperation, and shape a vision of the future based on mutual respect, partnership, and shared responsibility.

The convening of the World Public Assembly is initiated by the World Peoples Assembly — an international union of non-governmental organizations whose activities are aimed at developing public diplomacy, international humanitarian cooperation, and strengthening trust between peoples. The event will serve as the centerpiece of an extensive international program dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the World Peoples Assembly.

Shared values are the foundation of conscious unity

The First World Public Assembly, held in 2025 under the motto "New World of Conscious Unity," brought together over 5,000 participants from 153 countries and marked the beginning of a new stage in global public dialogue.

Continuing this dialogue, the Second World Public Assembly is dedicated to finding an answer to one of the key questions of our time:

• What values are capable of uniting humanity in the 21st century?

The work of the World Assembly will be focused on the joint search for value-based foundations that contribute to strengthening trust, developing international cooperation, and shaping a sustainable future.

— In the context of rapid global change, the search for moral guidelines capable of becoming the foundation of trust, mutual respect, international cooperation, and sustainable development takes on particular significance. This is precisely what the work of the Second World Public Assembly will be dedicated to.

The World Assembly opens a new stage in international public dialogue dedicated to the search for values capable of uniting humanity regardless of national, cultural, religious, and civilizational differences, noted the Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly, Andrey Belyaninov.

World Public Summits

The preparation for the Second World Public Assembly is taking place in the format of World Public Summits, organized by the World Peoples Assembly in various countries and regions around the world.

The Summits serve as platforms for international public dialogue, the development of cooperation, and the formation of proposals that will be presented at the Second World Public Assembly.

In 2026, the following have already taken place:

• World Public Summit: India (March 24–26, New Delhi);

• World Public Summit: Latin America (June 16–17, Salvador, Brazil).

The next stage of preparation will be:

• World Public Summit: Africa (July 29–30, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia).

The holding of World Public Summits makes it possible to take into account regional experience, unite best public practices, and formulate proposals that reflect the cultural diversity and shared values of various regions of the world.

Program of the Second World Public Assembly

The program of the World Public Assembly will be structured around six interconnected thematic tracks.

• Who are we?

The individual, their dignity, and quality of life;

• What do we stand on?

Values, culture, and historical memory;

• How do we live together?

Justice, trust, and public accord;

• How do we cooperate?

Public diplomacy and international partnership;

• What will we leave to future generations?

Responsibility for the future and sustainable development;

• Where are we heading?

A vision of the future and the architecture of a new world.

These thematic tracks reflect the consistent logic of international public dialogue — from understanding the role of the individual and fundamental values to shaping a shared vision of the future based on trust, mutual respect, cooperation, and shared responsibility.

The Second World Public Assembly will continue to shape an international space for public dialogue, bringing together representatives of different countries, cultures, and generations around values that promote trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility for the future of humanity.
