World Public Summit: Latin America "New World: Latin America in creating a common future" in El Salvador will bring Together Representatives from 20 countries

The World Public Summit: Latin America "The New World: Latin America in Shaping a Common Future" will be held in Salvador (Brazil) from June 16 to 17, 2026. The grandiose event will bring together representatives of science, culture, education, media, youth and non-profit organizations, business and the expert community from 20 Latin American countries and other regions of the world.

The main topics of the Summit will be:

  • formation of a new multipolar world,

  • youth leadership,

  • media, digital transformation, technology,

  • education,

  • the future of humanity.

Expected to participate:

  • Andrey Belyaninov – Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly,

  • Fidel Antonio Castro Smirnov - Fidel Castro's grandson, an academician of the Cuban Academy of Sciences,

  • Rubens Ricciardi – Conductor (Brazil),

  • Patricio Mary Bell – writer and journalist (Chile),

  • Adilson Araujo– President of the Central Union of Brazilian Workers,

  • Oscar Andrade– Senator (Uruguay)

and other opinion leaders.

The following events are planned within the Summit:

  • plenary session (with online broadcast);

  • discussion platforms;

  • the award ceremony for the winners of the regional stage of the International Contest "Leader of Public Diplomacy",

  • a large concert of Brazilian musicians who will perform works by Russian composers;

  • meeting of the delegation of the World Peoples Assembly with teachers and students of the University of El Salvador,

  • closing ceremony of the Summit (with online broadcast);

  • signing of cooperation agreements,

  • launching humanitarian and educational initiatives,

  • other events aimed at strengthening public diplomacy, humanitarian cooperation and a culture of mutual respect.

– The summit in El Salvador has an important practical meaning. We are creating a space where Latin America's voice is heard as an equal and significant voice in the global dialogue about the future of humanity. The events that will take place within the Summit will help develop public diplomacy projects in the region and involve NGOs, the academic community, business and youth," - Andrei Belyaninov is confident.

Following the results of the Summit, it is planned to form a package of joint proposals for inclusion in the agenda of the II World Public Summit in 2026 in Moscow.
