In today's multipolar world, public diplomacy is increasingly contributing to the consolidation of civil society and all participants in the international community, playing a significant role in building trust and mutual understanding between states and peoples.

At a time when a new world order — a new multipolar world — is taking shape, current conditions call for fundamentally new and more effective mechanisms for organizing the global community, new protocols of engagement, and the formation of shared responsibility for a common future.

The legal form of the Assembly of Peoples of the World — an International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations — has unity of the international public as its founding vector.

Public diplomacy makes it possible to detect emerging trends in the consolidation of people's forces around the world, to promote the advantages of reliable partners, new fields of activity, and additional channels of communication, to actively expand diplomatic relations, and to strengthen multilateral cooperation at the international level.

Among the shared objectives of international civil society organizations is, without question, the promotion of best practices and innovative ideas in the development of public diplomacy.

Among the priorities of the international public is work with youth and support for a humanitarian strategy of fellowship among peoples.

To discuss and address these objectives, the Assembly of Peoples of the World regularly hosts International Forums of Public Diplomacy.
