The Anniversary Eurasian National Costume Haute Couture Contest "ETHNO ERATO" will bring Together Participants from all over the Continent

The XXV Eurasian National Costume Haute Couture Contest "ETHNO ERATO" will bring together participants from all over the continent in honor of its anniversary. The project started in April 2026 and continues to accept applications until September 10, 2026.

Fashion designers from different countries and regions who wish to demonstrate to the general public original models of folk clothing, the beauty, depth and meanings of traditional national costume, as well as their own professional skills are invited to participate in the Contest. Applications have already been submitted by designers from Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, as well as from the regions of Russia.

Project organizers:

• Moscow Government,

• Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow,

• The Eurasian Women's Forum, a regional public organization promoting the preservation of ethnocultural Traditions,

with the support of the Moscow House of Nationalities and the World Peoples Assembly.

- Since 2000, the Contest has been bringing together professionals, lovers of ethnomoda, students and representatives of national cultural associations in an effort to communicate creatively and share experiences in the field of ethnic costume design," - the organizers note.

The author and head of the project is the Chair of the Coordinating Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum, Raushan Kanapyanova.

Dates and venues of the Contest:

• September 27: Moscow House of Nationalities (Russia, Moscow, Novaya Basmannaya str., 4, building 1, Krasnye Vorota metro station);

• The event begins at 9:00 a.m.;

• September 28: Moscow State Academic Theater "Russian Song" (Russia, Moscow, Olympic Avenue, 14, metro station "Dostoevskaya", "Tsvetnoy Boulevard", "Prospekt Mira");

• The Gala concert begins at 18:00.
